With a Canon Rebel T3. First time ever really taking pictures.

This is at a local dirt jump park.

I raced downhill for 3 seasons as a Cat 2 before I started college fall of last year. So I've gone down hard several times, and I will say that the guy without the helmet is crazy no matter the size of the jump or drop. I would never ride without one after cracking a Troy Lee fullface helmet.

He said he was scared even with this stuff and is picking one up ASAP. Next time we go out we are going to work on a monster of a jump. 30 foot roll in off an almost vertical rock face into a 30+ foot gap. It is scary to just look at. Which is why I will stay behind the lens. Thanks for the comments guys.

Post up pics of it when ya'll go out. I'd like to see that. Sounds fun.

I plan on taking pics of our progress rebuilding the jump and then once we have it completed. Its been growing over with weeds and varmint holes for the better part of 8 years. Its going to take a lot of work. It is pretty intimidating to look at to say the least. We're also going to try and get some GoPro footage and if I can figure out the movie setting on the Canon we'll get some from that too.

Went out again on Saturday. We were going to work on the big jump but it was too damn hot. So they hit the table top a couple times and we called it a day.

Ky right before he thumped his head.

Picked up a bike so I can join the fun.

'06 Diamondback XTS Moto. Its a bit scratched up but I plan to repaint it this winter. Other than the cosmetics it is in pretty good shape.

Good reason to wear a helmet. All I remember is I was jumping the table top and ended up crashing. Knocked out and concussed. I don't remember Tuesday night at all. Wear your helmet kids!

Why wear a helmet on a dirt bike then? The guys in that Red Bull video are easily doing **** as dangerous as dirt bikers. And cause I've still got symptoms from my concussion 3 weeks ago.

Helmets are for people who don't like traumatic head injury. I've seen too many pictures of guys with gashes and cracked skulls. Any time I'm in traffic or riding technical, I'll wear a helmet.

I'm unclear on whether that makes me "special" or just a little girl, though.
