Winching this jeep out. He was barrier to his axles. My truck kept sliding as we pulled. So ended up getting my snatch strap and gave him a few rubber band yanks and out he came. LOVE THAT STRAP!

so i did this today......



What a pain in the butt!

i had half a tank of gas. (mistake).

I was in a 3 hour time crunch (mistake)

my fat hands are too large to get in the small spots above the tank to release the hose clamps and electrical connections (personal problem)



got it all installed and done. got rid of my HGLP problem. WIN :boxer: ding ding!



now i have to do some tuning and add more fuel at highway speeds because the truck likes to stumble quite a bit. i think its still lean. shes a thirsty pig! :beer:

so after installing the fuel pump the other day... I did some tuning today out on the highway in between on ramps.

I ended up bumping my timing up from the stock base tune 10%. I also changed the fuel injector quite a bit according to what i felt and my AFR gauge readings. Before today i struggled to get to 80 mph as i was hesitating and stumbling while trying to keep a speed over 75 mph. with my newly adjusted map. I was able to scream to an easy 95 mph with easy and saw my timing sitting right around 18 and my AFR at 11.8-9 at the lowest. generally sitting around 12.0-3.

I plan to keep tuning a little more at a time. This was a quick and dirty tune to just get me more fuel at those higher speeds.

i am still doing the 2.2 pulley and 7th injector.

But here is my current map.

ive kinda been busy with other projects (my bikes, atv, new lexus) so the 4Runner has been neglected, same with you guys. So i have been spending my time elsewhere (school as well, senior in a Mechanical engineering degree) but i do check in multiple times a day for messages and things, just not actively posting.

So I ended up getting the compressor installed. It's sitting against my subs on top of the rear wheel well on the driver side. I plan to run my impact gun so I want a small air tank that can fit on the other side wheel well.

Do you have any ideas?

Another thing. Is that having all this power. A second battery may be in order. So what ever comes along with that.

I want all these things. Then again. I also want headers and a full borla exhaust.

I got 99 problems and money is all but one.

Well if you have to ask, you know its an issue. I now just trick the wife into buying the parts for me!! She just bought me a adjustable panhard bar that I tricked her into thinking was needed for my alignment. GOOD STUFF!
 
So addition to the package coming. I picked these up (all 4). For $100. 35x12x17. Now I need some 17s.
