Shopping for 99+up 4runner, need advice

Besides the normal testing the 4wd, anything else I shold look for in the maintenance or past paper work?
when testing the4wd should I look out for anything in particular?
I didnt see a shopping FAQ.

The big dollar item to look for is timing belt, that should be done around the 80-100k mark. A small label on the timing belt cover will say if it has been done.
The biggest issue with some Toyota 4wd systems is the ADD for the front axle. They are vacuum operated and prone to leaks. I'm not saying that its a major issue but if 4wd wont engage the ADD playing up is the most common reason. Check that both front wheels are getting power.
