Yea I really hate that spot on Daniel when it gets rutted out
After doing what you did a few times, I figured out the right line even though it's not intuitive.
As you are coming up there stay to the LEFT, put your drivers side tire a little up the wall and you will go right up without picking up a tire.

At 0:14 I thought "SOLID AXLE SWAP!" It's moments like that one when even the pumpkin is allowed to droop that things feel a bit more stable. Don't get me wrong, you can still over extend and wind up in the same boat, and may have anyhow right there, it just typically takes a lot longer to get there.

That was some DOPE ASS footage. Holy **** talk about tippy for sure.
But i hate to be the guy to say it. The guy that was outside helping you not flip was brave as well. If your truck did flip. He'd be smashed. Not sure if that was the smartest thing to do. But hey it worked and you guys are safe. It takes a good buddy to do that. I think I even seen him slip a few times.

man, im honered to roll with the LC's......
PS- went to gulches this past weekend. man, talk about a freakin crazy time (as it usually is). broke off an axle shaft in the front diff, again. beat up the 4runner pretty well, almost smashed out the rear tail light.
Greatest part, I was the only IFS out there out of nearly 25+ Jeeps and other Solid axle Toyotas, and I man handled that ****.
It feels great watching 15+ Jeeps that are on well over 35's continue to get stuck, then walking over it no prob in the 3rd gen. Made snappin that axle worth it since I have a spare chillin at the house.
I also took about 650-700 photos for the 4WheelParts event they had this weekend, so I should have a very nice album up for all to see this week.

Next time tie a strap to your roof rack or b-pillar and have your spotter yank from above. If you flopped, you would have maimed your buddy. You should never have your spotter directly downhill from your rig.
