Let me first start by saying I am NOT an experienced mechanic, particularly when it comes to front end suspension on my 4Runner. I'm in the process of replacing my LBJs, OTRs, ITRs, steering rack guide and swaybar end links. Everything is going smoothly, and I removed the ITRs this evening and noticed some fluid in the boots from both the driver and passenger sides, basically an oily/greasy type fluid. I also noticed that the end of the steering rack connection to the ITR on the passenger side was clean, while the driver side had some greasy gunk visible. Is this normal, or do I have a rack issue? Pics attached...
Many thanks!
