should i buy a pair?

well my t4r always has brake dust in the front. the wheels are covered in it. the rear isn't that bad. but the front is very noticeable. i was thinking of getting those brake dust shields from Performance Products. they go behind your the wheels. i just wanted to get a pair for the front. do any of you guys have these aluminum brake dust shields installed to your t4r? do they really work? does it produce more heat on the brakes? thanks

Well yes, they will retain heat. I personally wouldn't use them for that reason.

The front wheels collect brake dust more rapidly, because the front is where most of the braking is accomplished.

I would just clean the wheels more often.

You also might want to see if your rear drums are adjusted correctly. Otherwise the front brakes will be providing an even
higher percentage of the stopping power, and will collect brake dust even faster.

sorry im not a tech wiz but how would you know if your rear drums are adjusted correctly? i think that is the problem because the rear wheels are pretty clean and the front are just a mess.

On your 95 you can adjust them by using your emergency brake to stop when you back up. Use it when you back out of the drive way. Do that every few weeks and it will stay adjusted.
