Hello, I have a 2000 limited 4runner but it is not 4x4 and that is what im looking to buy to customize this summer. The 4runner that im looking at is a 2001 4runner SR5 4x4 and has a sunroof. Its nice, clean, and only has 144k miles. It is for sale for $7990, should i look into buying it and sell my 2000 4runner?
Should i buy this 4runner? Please Help!

$8000 is way high around these parts for an '01. Is that normal for SC?

Did you try looking at craiglist and your classifieds? Or did you want somebody to do that for you?
Most of the people on this board are nowhere near you. All we can tell you is what prices are like where we're at. You're going to need to do a little legwork to find out what prices are like where you're at.

Your right so i looked up all the 2001s on craigslist and if its 4x4, the price is like 10,000 and those have like 170,000 miles.

So it seems like the one you're looking at isn't too far out of line then. Make sure you're looking a private party and not dealership prices, and if you can find a couple that sold recently, ask the seller what they actually sold it for vs. what they listed it for.
