should I dithch the K&N air filter

I just purchased a K&N airfilter for my 99 4runner, but then I read where they have been causing problems with some airflow sensor. Should I try to return it and go with another brand, or is there some way to circumvent any problems?

The best filter you can put in there is the True Flow..

I have one and never had any problems with it but I'm careful about not over oiling it. I'd get the TrueFlow as it's just overall better.

i have k&n..... always worked just fine for me. to be honest... i would get a true flow if i had to do it over. im worried k&n will cover MAF in oil... as it makes perfect sense how this would happen. go with true flow but i woulnt be worried about k&n if u already got it
