Gang- Need your advice on something. MyT4R installed these headlights on his truck (photos below) and I think they look sharp, but I can't decide if they are for me. Do I get them at all? And if I do, silver or black housing, what would look better? Thanks guys. They are just about $200 shipped.

MyT4R's Thread:

1. Don't get them because they are ugly/cheap/too ghetto
2. Not bad, but the Shrockworks hoops will block too much of them.
3. Get them with black housing (as in the photos)
4. Get them with silver housing (like the factory headlights, but with the LED marker lights up top and the angel eye LED halo rings around the low/high beams.

My truck, for reference: (sorry, can't find the link to my gallery on this website)

First off. That truck is fricking wicked. I'm not sure as to how yours would look with those headlights though, if you like them alot i would try them out. If your any good at photoshop this isnt that hard to shop in. even though i have nothing to add to this conversation i thought i would add that truck is awesome looking.

no sir, I don't like it

Tempting to have an easy install with projectors, but they look to ricey! No sir I don't like it...

well the photoshop should be pretty easy for anyone with experience, but i just did a copy and paste of the blacked headlights onto your "right" (or left) headlight. squint your eyes and i guess it kinda worked.

cheap aftermaket lights tend to crack easy and fog up. They also yellow faster,

I also beleive if you like them get them. who cares what other people think. i just recommend you keep your stockers . just incase.

If their performance is better than OEM but if not than they are a waste of money just to have a look when the lights are off.

You have you truck set up with a nice off road look , not to mention your emer. eq. don't ruin it !!!! Money can be better spent IMO , but its your truck.

if you did get the projectors. i would get some of these black magic hella lights to replace those piaa's. that would look sharp.

Sorry to stray, but where did the sweet bumper setup come from?

Thanks in advance...

The front is a Shrockworks front bumper, the rear is a custom one made by Crozhawk from over on toyota120.com. Do a search on the internet, as well as on this site, for Shrockworks and you will find more info on it as well as info on how to purchase, if you are interested. As for the rear bumper, he only made 3, and doesn't have plans to make any more as of now. Too bad, it is a sweet bumper. :(

yeah definitely... those are sick.. and on your dark colored truck with a black housing that would look evil!!! get em.. I wish they made them for 3rd gen

hey ksneubec, can u post some more pics of your rear bumper? i know its custom and he's not making anymore, i would just like to see it...:biggrin2:

Yes yes! Give me a week, as I'm going to sand down the sliders (I do this once a year normally as I get a few rust spots) and instead of repaint with paint, use a spray on bedliner. That, plus I now have a 1.5" body lift and a 4 inch OME suspension lift.

Sorry, totally forgot! I will post some today or tomorrow, as soon as I get a chance to get home and take a few pics.
