Should I line-x, paint my trim?

Got a quick question for you guys..

Has anyone ever painted, or line-x, etc, their lower trim? I have a 2000 limited and it is black with like a silver-ish trim. i'm looking at blacking out my vehicle and I think black trim would really make it look more aggressive.

Has anyone done this? and if so, what was your method, etc?

Here is a picture of my 4-runner, only difference now is that I've removed the running boards and got new tires.

Deff should make that silver trim go away. I have Black limited and wish i did not have the chrome bumpers. Don't matter cause i am gonna get new paint job (eventually) and get the bumpers rhino lined black.

I wouldn't line x the flares and just keep it to the lower rockers since too much lin-x will make it look cheap but I'm even considering doing my lower pieces for protection off road.

personally if i had your rig..i'd color all the lower trim/fenders/bumpers a gunmetal grey or dark grey. maybe keep the wheels that color for a while and see how it looks..then u can black them out if u want. if u plan on taking the fat fender flares off and dont want them pm me

I have the same truck and I was thinking about doing that too! I have know idea how to or where to take it to get it done. I agree that it would make it look ALOT better. I am ordering some flat black rims and a brush guard to "beef" it up a little. Lemme know what you end up doing.
