Should I worry?

doing the valve cover gaskets. When I pulled the covers off I found most of the engine parts have a beautiful golden coat of golden baked on oil. but at the back of the left side it turned to a bronze color. Indication of a problem?

also changing radiator, noticed the old one has rubber grommet where radiator is bolted onto side pieces. New radiator does not. Should I a)send back and get a different one b) put some rubber grommets on to help with vibration. c) dont worry and just change it around 100k

Nothing to worry about there, looks fine.

You can get the grommets at the dealer if need be or just reuse the old ones. Never understood why Toyota never had a dealer in Mt. P.

215k miles. Synthetic Oil every 10k after 144k.

Be careful torquing the covers down, it’s very easy to go buck wild and crank them down and crack the covers.

Make sure to use OEM valve cover gaskets
