I really like how low profile this is. I'll have to track down a basket. And some 2010-2013 trail roof rails too. Anyone have a set for sale, or know where I can get some new ones? I've searched everywhere.

Kuat vagabond

Anyone have the Kuat Vagabond mounted on a 5th gen? Curious to see how it looks specific to a 5th gen. I have been searching with no luck other than etrailer mounting a vagabond x on some super tall looking crossbars.

Baja Rack, bad picture but love the rack. Had a Gobi Stealth before this but sold it because of the horrendous wind noise. I don't know if it was me or the Kansas winds but it was so loud I couldn't take it anymore, and I tried every angle possible to make it work.

Baja Roof Rack

I have the Baja Rack full length Utility Rack without the mesh floor. I love how it is a low profile rack that passes under my driveway trees with ease. I tie everything down with rope, as you would do with any rack. Today I loaded 7 - 12 foot 2x6 and 2x4 on the flat top and tied it down with no trouble. I've had 7 sheets of plywood up on top recently (280 lbs). I'm working on a remodel project here that requires lumber. Here it is on a trip up the backside of Big Bear in the San Bernardino Mountains on the desert side overlooking Apple Valley, CA. There's a shovel, the dusty firewood and propane tanks tied on top.

Baja Roof Rack

Here's the rack with 7 sheets of 1/2" plywood on top.
Notice the back rail is straight. I had that custom made by Baja Rack for a few dollars more. The shark fin fits between the rails of the rack just fine and sit's below the top, out of the way. I have no plans to subscribe to SirusX radio here in So Cal, with so many good radio stations to choose from so interference of the antennae was not a concern. I mostly listen to NPR anyway.

What is everyone doing for shovel mounts? I have a GOBI and $150 is pretty steep for just the mounts. I got suckered into the GOBI Awning mounts but want to see if there are any other alternatives.

A couple of quick fist mounts and it is easy to fab a mount that will attach to your rack. This is what I did on my ARB rack on my FJ.

I will do the same when I get my Prinsu
