It may be too dark for some, but it is absolutely stunning in direct sunlight.

Very nice color, it seem's pretty rare in my neck of the wood's though, not many around here. It was a little to close to Black for me since I owned 5 black vehicle's in the last 5 I had ....lol

Went with GG

In nice sunlight, it has a nice dark olive green tint, other angles it looks like a dark charcoal, and at night it looks like a soft lighter side of a black. When friends ask what color your SUV is, I have no idea how to explain it.

Those pictures really do the color justice. My question is how do you keep your 4Runner looking like that with all the snow on ground? :D

Initially I was going to get the Galactic Grey but because the color seems to change given the lighting I decided to get the Shadow Mica.

geeze... how many pictures of 4runners are we gonna post on this site???!?!?

LOL... just kidding. MORE MORE!!

I've personally noticed that on the GG and the SM color's. Sometime's the SM looked like a real deep metallic brown in certain light to me. Same with my GG in certain light it has a tinge of blue , when it's cloudy out it look's dark gray , kinda weird but kind of cool. I've got alot of compliment's on my GG and I'm sure you'll get ton's on the Shadow too....it's a rock'n color !

One of the other reason's for me going to GG or (Silver 2nd choice) was because of going off road and having a color that would hide brush scratches .

From the get-go, I had second thoughts on this color. Mainly maintenance reasons. Through the winter season and the high pollen season of spring in Boston, this color is just as easy as my prior color of Titanium. I agree, it is very smooth, and rare. I love it.
