Shrockworks dual battery kit with air pump relocation, feedback?

I have searched high and low for pictures of the Shrockworks dual battery kit on a 2014/2015 with the air pump relocation kit along with some feedback , anybody? Time for an auxiliary battery but still trying to find the right tray. I would rather not mount it behind the air box as I'd like to keep that spot for other equipment in the build but will do what I must.

I'll bump it, just gone out from under the hood working on this today.

Initially I didn't want to mess with the power steering relocation or anything emissions related, so got the bits and a battery tray to mount my second battery behind the air box, up against the firewall. Looking at how it would fit has me concerned about heat. I know they make battery heat shields, but I'm keeping the shrockworks option open now. Would love to hear feedback from anyone who's done this as well.

Dont you usually need to relocate the windshield washer fluid reservoir when putting in a extra battery on this generation as well.

No worries, the more the merrier.

I am not convinced on the washer bottle relocation. The mount yes, but I am not sure about the bottle. Ours looks different than the FJ and I think it would be simple to add a mount when you removed the shared mount that the air pump uses. I will call them next week since finding pictures of the unit actually installed on a 5th Gen is like finding a Unicorn.

K. I looked at it today too and see what you're talking about. I emailed shrockworks to see if I can buy just the secondary air injection pump kit. I want to run an odyssey and it looks like it's just a hair too big for their tray. It should fit but if not I figure I could always fall back on the optima. We'll see what they say on the relo kit.

I ordered mine today. Here is what you need:
The actual dual battery kit itself.
The Pump relocation kit.
For the washer fluid reservoir you can either order their fancy reservoir for $258 or they will sell you the bracket you need to re-use your stock reservoir for about $40. The issue is that the air pump mounting bracket is also the washer mount bracket, so once you relocate the pump (and its mounting bracket) you're left with a partially mounted reservoir. The bracket they have will remedy this. I have no desire for a new front bumper so I had no desire for their fancy aluminum bottle, plus I plan on using that location for something else.

I will post up pictures when the installation is complete since there isn't a single picture of this anywhere on the internet. Shrockworks didn't even have one. Nice guys on the phone though.

I went with an off-the-shelf stainless battery tray from my local speed shop and modified it to fit - I'm into my relocation kit for about $100, and didn't need to move the washer reservoir. Granted, I have a 2012, so the air injection pumps are a non-issue in my case.

I went with an off-the-shelf stainless battery tray from my local speed shop and modified it to fit - I'm into my relocation kit for about $100, and didn't need to move the washer reservoir. Granted, I have a 2012, so the air injection pumps are a non-issue in my case.

You get what you pay for in life. There's a lot to the kit and worth the price of entry IMHO. I didn't need to move my washer reservoir either, that was a communication error and shown in the build thread linked above.

Dual battery and ARB dual air compressor?

Hi Keith,

I hope you're well! Great build so far! I'd like to install a dual battery system and the ARB dual air compressor (CKMTA12) in my 2016 Trail Premium. Is there a bracket that will enable the ARB dual air compressor to mount back near the firewall while still maintaining clearance underneath for the relocation of the air pump when installing an auxiliary or second battery via the Shrockworks dual battery tray and air pump re-locator?

I'm open to ideas as I have not yet purchased a dual battery tray or system yet and would welcome your thoughts on this. Thank you in advance!

Have you seen Slee's bracket? Mounts a compressor on the driver side.
