shrockworks lights

Hey guys,

So I am getting ready to install my bumper and wanted to finalize on some lights.

I was thinking about getting some LED's to swap out from the Hellas since it appears so many people have been having issues with them burning out. I read that some of the issues were caused by the lens filling up with water and some people just had them burn out.

With that in mind, has anyone been able to find a plug and play replacement light for the turn signals? I wanted to retain the daytime running lamp aspect of my stock front bumper.

I am also looking at fog lights and it seems the only two fog lights that are plug in play, as in, they do not need any bumper modification, are the PIAA 510s and the Morimoto XB? Does anyone else have any recommendations? I was looking at LED's but could only find square ones.. :smash:

Ive had my lights in my SW bumper for almost 8 months with no issues. Their wiring diagram in the instructions is wrong though...just a heads up.

It's a bit late in the game to do it now, though I guess you could if you have the right tools, but I contacted Mark at Shrockworks ahead of time and he was able to do to my bumper what SOcalTRAIL did to his in regards to the turn signals / DRLs.

As for the Morimoto XB fog lights, I have those in my Shrockworks bumper and they are excellent. Not quite as bright as stock, not quite as wide, but pretty darn close on both accounts. Well worth the money, knowing they'll never need to be replaced (hopefully)

Thanks! That is interesting you say the Moriomto lights arent as bright as stock. Would you ever consider swapping them out for the PIAA 510s?
