C4 Fab are in the process of making one and I "think" either Relentless and/or Demello are too. I can't remember which one, but I saw a post somewhere about it. Just can't remember which one.

Nah...I knew C4 was making one. I'm talking about Demello or Relentless. I think it's Demello as I "thought" I saw an IG post about them doing a rear this year at some point. I wonder what that holder is on the passenger side? Will that thing hold a Hi-Lift? And wish some bumper makers would incorporate a 5lb propane holder as well. One reason I like my custom Wilco. I don't do super rock crawling so departure angle on the rear isn't a huge deal.

That is a very nice looking bumper. I will keep an eye on it. Any idea when it will be available? I really like my gobi ladder so I will have to see if it is going to be compatible.

It's not going to be available. One time custom job. Sorry guys. When he started on the 4Runner I think he planned on making it production, but has since changed his mind.

The holder on the left is where the base of the hi-lift goes. It mounts across the bottom of the swing out. They can put whatever you want in the swing out- just tell them you want a propane mount.

Its strange that shrockworks and others, including AOR, are shying away from 4th gen rear production bumpers. Whats going on?

Heh...I'm curious as well to know why no one wants to make one. Demand? Cost of production? Profit margin to small? All the above and more?

IMO I think it's got to be demand and also the fact that they are an 8 person company. We take a lot of pride in our rigs and they also take a lot of pride in their products. I'm going out on a limb by saying this but...with everyone wanting their 5th gen, products it's hard for them to keep up. I hope they wouldn't take that as an insult because it is the exact opposite. A company with such demand should be proud to be so in demand!
I spoke with Mitch at Shrockworks and he's always filling orders! So, keep up the great work folks over at Shrockworks!

Next time you talk to mitch let him know we have a long list of 4th gen owners looking for that rear bumper. It looks like CBI is the only real option right now. Hire more people!

I will be very interested in a 4th Gen rear bumper. Jason at demello gas told me if we can get a bunch of people interested he’d consider doing one. Their products are amazon and I hope this pans out. Just ordered shrockworks skids for my 4th. I’ll call them and mention a rear as well. Can’t review shrockworks yet as a company but I’ve heard they’re very good. Too bad the c4 one was a one time only deal. That thing looks quite nice!

Oh I would jump on a Demello in a heartbeat. I love the look of their products. Hence why I have their front bumper. Best looking one out there with a Relentless as a close second.

agreed! and I really like what they've done with the FJ cruiser rear bumper they just came out with. I'll also say that their prices and shipping rates are very very reasonable compared to other companies. I also have their front bumper and just ordered sliders from them.

yeah buddy!! I know. I think maybe I'll contact Jason again after I get their sliders and review them. I'll ask him again about a rear bumper. I'm sure he'll be interested. He would need a vehicle around the shop for a few days I'm sure to prototype it and test it out, which I'm sure won't be a problem.
Then I'm sure if he had a minimum number of people commit with a deposit after seeing their prototype, he'd start producing it. I am not affiliated with them at all, just a happy customer, and I live in Canada, so take everything I say with a grain of salt lol
He's a solid guy though and I have no doubt we could get something going. Personally I won't have money for one until the new year, so maybe I'll jump on it in mid january to get something going for tax return time.
