Excuse my ignorance, but can someone show me a pic of the $199 option for the "Trail Edition Rocker Trim" sliders, i'm thinking that is only for trail edition models or SR5 2013.

The trail edition rocker trim ..
Trail Edition Rocker Trim, 5th Gen 4Runner

On non trail edition models this will fill the body gap between the sliders themselves and the body making the vehicle more resemble a trail model .

Trail edition models do not need the rocker trim however non trail model owners are suggested to purchase a set with their slider purchase .

The above link shows them installed on their own without sliders to give you the idea of what they do and how they look. They can be purchased seperately in the future if need be, however are a tad cheaper with purchase of the sliders.

Ok thank you for the explanation, so it shouldn't be a problem on my 2017 trd pro as I believe the clearance resembles a trail model? I plan on going with the textured coated sliders with tread plates.

Glad this is still open. Waiting to make sure expense check arrives and I'm in for sliders. Will send PM then.
 
Does anyone know if the rear bumper with tire carrier will work with Gobi ladder?

The pics provided in OP post looks like it'll work.
