Out of curiosity I put my Canadian postal code in there to see shipping price for set of skid plates and it shows 0$ for shipping even after I clicked "checkout" Is that true, shipping to Canada is free ? Or it's just web site glitch?

I just heard from Mark about skid plate shipping. They will extend the free shipping offer to the Group Buy participants. Maybe that'll be some leverage for you as you convince your better half.

Free Shipping on skids is only to the Lower 48. If you live in Canada, Hawaii, or Alaska, call for a detailed quote.

SW won't provide the appropriate discount code until Aug 10 (as mentioned in an earlier post), and I would think they don't want to have to mess with dealing with who needs a retro refund etc.

Just put a reminder on your calendar and check back to see if your deal got cheaper; you're already committed anyway by the sounds of things imp: :guitar3:

yeah.. I hear you. Might keep some people who are on the fence from bailing; but as a business I can see why they don't want to have to deal with it. Personally, (assuming I get the wife convinced) I will do the pay-by-phone in order to split the cash outlay. I like the SW products, but I also like getting interest on my money :high5:

Jack is doing great, thanks for asking. I'm going to have to pass on the GB this time around though. Needs are gonna outweight wants for the next couple years.

The way that the group buy works, we compile a list of buyers and present that to Shrockworks. At that time, Shrockworks will give us the final discount based on the number of items that we are ordering collectively. Like Okki said, they don't want to mess with retro refunds for the first group. So, unfortunately, we won't be able to get a discount now and get the additional perks applied retroactively. But, August 10 is not a deadset date. If we can get 20 or more before that date, we can request the discount code and start our "Order Week" then. If we as a group decide that we don't want to wait, we could always cut it off anytime and request the 10% discount. Considering we've been able to acquire 10 orders in 5 days, my vote would be to wait until we can get 20.

Additional Discount!!

I just spoke with Mark at Shrockworks and he has agreed to increase the discount to 15% if we can get 20 orders. Let's really push this to try to get those commitments over the next week or so. If we can reach the 20 before August 10, I don't see why we couldn't end the GB a little early and get that discount code.
