I will just voice my opinion here real quick. For anyone living in northern or coastal areas where salt and corrosion is an issue, I would without a doubt opt in on the powder coat option.

We certainly encourage folk to go with it, not because we make any extra $$ out of the deal but because it helps to provide you with a quality product that will look nice and stay looking nice for years to come. We basically have out powder prices set to cost, and most anyone who has quoted getting their bumper coated themselves can probably tell you that what we charge is very reasonable. Not only that but our shop is the best we have been able to find and they do a exceptional job in comparison to others I have seen, and hold themselves to "show quality" standards.

In the end, to get a decent DIY paint job your going to end up spending probably 40-50 bucks on enough primer and paint to get a few good coats on a bumper and it still wont take half the abuse that our powder will....just food for thought.
 
Good thoughts, Justin! The price is great compared to what a local shop would charge. You may have just convinced me! Thanks for your other input on the GB as well. Looking forward to having that quality SW bumper on.

When I talked to Mark about that, he said the most he can do on a discount is 15%. Maybe we could talk him into some other perks. I'll be calling in the next hour or 2.

Just order the rear bumper and tire carrier already, you know you want to :evil:

I'm on the fence about an engine skid myself. Funds for our Kitchen remodel or more armor for the 4runner... And yes I know I can't drive my kitchen around.

I just got back from a 4000 plus round trip to Moab, Ouray, and Southern AZ.
 
UGAMurph- maybe we need to move to North Carolina....maybe they're growing money trees. I'm almost positive TN doesn't have any.
