Shrockworks Supremacy

I was not driving, and No one was injured, but this happened. Call it shrockworks supremacy!

No airbags deployed in either car and the Rhino T4R is fine.

Rubbing compound took care of most of the marks. Bit of touch up paint for the few scratches. Loosened the nuts and bolts and the bumper slid back into position from the angle it took. I have ordered new winchline so I could replace the safety thimble with one of the newer fold flat factor 55 ultra hooks. Looking to replace / upgrade the lights. The baja designs LP9 looked interesting but seem to be too tall from the spec sheet. Will likely get PIAA LP570 replacements. The new red ultra hook should add some bling to the front.

I am going to credit the durability of the winch bumper with the T4R Rhino’s ability to stay on the road. So far I have had 7 years of ownership and the mod list is finally getting shorter, it will likely see 100k miles soon.

Crazy to see how plastic holds up to steel, I would have never expected results this fascinating or extraordinarily.
Sarcasm aside; good to nothing besides superficial damage to your 4runner. This is exactly why I got battle armor on mine.

Are you in the Fort Worth Area? If not there is another 5th gen running around with a color matched SW bumper.

I have a Shrockworks bumper on my 2013 TE. A couple of months ago I had someone driving next to me try to make a right hand turn from the inside lane. I saw him veer my way and immediately hit the brakes. He kept coming so the edge of my bumper took all the impact as he moved across the front edge of my vehicle. It pretty much caved in the whole side of his Toyota Avalon. The only damage to my vehicle was some scratching on the edge of my bumper and the light assembly flexed enough to fracture it. Total bill for the damage to my 4-Runner was around $350.00 to replace the light assembly.

Almost all fixed up. I need to get the black mesh guards for the lights instead of the white covers.

You sure nothing structural is bent in your car? That poor Corolla absorbed a ton of energy into its crumple zones. Your truck faced the same impact without any crumple zone to absorb it.

Drives straight at all speeds. Been under and nothing is evident. I did find a stability sensor under dash in driver footwell that broke the thin plastic from its mount and was hanging. Reattached it and zip tied it back into place.

Put new winch line on this evening and for a few minutes I thought something was wrong with the winch, but got it working correctly.

I think the corrolla absorbed the majority of the energy.
