I just had my windshield replaced on my 2013 LE. There is a 1/2" gap on each side. It appears it is not wide enough to fit the space. My installer said that is the way they make them now and even if I had one installed by Toyota, it would look the same. Has anyone else had this issue? I am very disappointed. In addition to this disappointing install, he attempted to take off my antenna, and during this process he apparently twisted it enough to break my connection wires and scratch the part that holds the antenna in place. I will meet with my installer about all issues on Wednesday, and I would like to know if he is full of crap about the windshield. If this is how replacement windshields come, are trim pieces available?

Thank you. I have had T4Rs for over 25 yrs, and I've never seen this before regarding a windshield. I am wondering if there is someone out there who can send a pic of a replacement windshield for a 5th gen LE with a width that actually fits the opening. I need proof to show him.
