Side of the road bag?

Does anyone keep a duffle bag or tactical bag in their ride to hold all their items? I just ordered a UTG tactical black bag to hold all my vehicle gear. Tow straps, jacks, flares, blankets, etc. I almost ordered a tactical backpack as well for a BOB but didn't pull the trigger. Does anyone have one they would recommend? I know, I probably sound paranoid but he who holds the goods and the guns makes the rules. I would rather be prepared than not!!

I have a large tool box that is secured to the deck, inside is a dewalt and rigid tool bag full of hand tools. Some military grade pyro and MRE's and a field dressing kit. I also have Crosby shackles and a giant tow rope, water bottles etc back there. I even have a few welding rods in case I need to pull the old redneck jumper cables to the battery to weld something.

Oh yea I have some toilet paper back there too along with transmission, brake fluid and oil too.

thank goodness you said that! everyone should keep some toilet paper in their trucks. you never know when you'll need it

I try to at least keep a variation of the tried and true coffee can survival kit especially in winter. Modified for my use and depending on season - fishing flies, duct tape on a stick, sunscreen etc.

Mine is quite different from this one but roughly...

I have one of those vinyl tool cases you get from Sears...Have an assortment of tools...tow cable...jumper cables.

i carry a toolbag, a plastic chest with my trailspares, a little duffel with recovery gear, and another little duffel with water, blanket, spare shirt, snacks, f/a kit, toilet paper, etc.

I love it...all that and there is room for a stroller and pampers. I find that funny in that I can relate just having my baby boy this past March.

Since I pulled my cargo system out, I carry a craftsman bag full of tools & tow gear and an old TNF backpack will other gear like first aid stuff, dog stuff, TP, & some other camping/survival gear.

I use a large pelican case with basics. Sleeping bag, small backpacking stove and gas, clothes, knife, axe and shovel, water, MRE's, recovery strap, chain, you get the picture. I find the pelican is good because it is sealed and hard sided also I can remove it easily if need be. I also keep two Cabela's dry box's with tools and such.
