side plastic panel on taillight!

how do you remove the plastic panel on the taillights which uncover the screws. i have NO idea how to take these off and I need to in order to install my taillight guards! please help!

I figured it out, apparently you have to open the small quarter panel inside of the trunk and unbolt it from that direction, rather awkward but works! (also requires some tugging to seperate it from the body)

I ordered "non-drill" tail light guards from Manik (reason I was trying to remove the tail lights) however the directions clearly say I have to drill so i'm going to go ahead and get a shop to install it to make sure it is done properly... unless any of you have a suggestion on how to do this correctly.
