It's either an '06-'08 Sienna based on the looks of it...and it is probably a Limited model or at the very least XLE based on rims. It is AWD model apparently. The story mentioned that it has "everything." In addition, since at least 2006, side curtains are standard on all models. In 2004, it was standard on Limited and optional on other grades. So, this vehicle likely has side curtains.

It's too bad that you got a lemon Sienna. My Sienna has been trouble free for 6000 miles...and it's going up a bit too fast because it's also my daily driver.

Well - I am hoping this is the last time its in the shop. Its that liftgate BS - where it falls on you in cold weather.

The motor and electrical systems are actually ok. Just the hydraulics now

Howdy, this is actually my blog that was linked to. Thanks for all the "glad they made it out ok"s because we too are glad we made it out ok.

I emailed the guy who owned the van and he said that it had side curtain airbags and it was an '05.

Thanks Thai. Glad you enjoyed the story/pictures. When it comes time to buy a mini van (aka. when we have kids) I plan to get a Sienna, great van in my opinion.

Glad everyone made it out ok. Being and playing in the snow is fun, but sometimes the roads to get there are dangerous. One of the highways here, US50, is frequently closed due to avalanches during the winter. During President's Day weekend, it had a rock slide right before I drove by it--it closed the opposite direction.
