Hey all, as you know there was a decision made a while back to eliminate pics in sigs - primarily because even though we had a rule regulating the size of sig pics there was no way under the old antiquated software (at least that I could figure out
) to enforce it.
Well, with the new software we're better able to actually allow a pic in a sig and to prevent abuse by those who are either oblivious to or don't like to follow rules. The new sig rule allows for up to 5 lines of text and a pic (which you must upload - see "edit signature" under your User Control Panel button for the spot where you can upload a sig pic). The sig pic can be up to 200 pixels high and 500 pixels wide. I think it's the best compromise in terms of allowing folks to have a decently informative sig but yet not causing undue annoyance to those folks who don't like to see gigantic signatures in every post.
Once you upload the sig pic, you can then insert it into your sig by using the code [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
