Signal Light

My front signal light is shot. I've tried 3 different bulbs in it and it still doesn't work. When I signal, the rear signals in double time.

Last winter when I started it up when it was really cold, there was a weird noise coming from the dash (right behind the tack) and ever since my signal hasn't been working.

I'm thinking it might be something other then the bulb.

Has anyone any idea what I can do? Anyone come across this before?

did you check the connection to the back of the housing?
the sound that came from behind the dash, did it only happen when you were driving? I have had that happen and it was the speedo cable.

The sound came from behind the dash when I fired it up. It was really, really cold.

To check the wiring, do I just see if its connected properly?

Or is there something else I need to do?
