Silicone hose kits!

Has anyone bought the silicone hose kits sold on eBay and made in China? Only $63.00 for a 14 piece coolant hose kit sounds too good to be true! Especially if it is really silicone!

They didn't last two years on my truck. Cheap silicone - cost about $ 3.50 to make.. :hunter:
Yeah, heard bad things about those silicone hoses. I think I'll stick with OEM or NAPA rubber when I replace mine. Should last me until I could not drive safely anymore :)

I changed out all the vacuum hoses on my 3rd gen with this kit Silicone Boost Vacuum Hose

On these older trucks, might need this bigger kit because of all the extra vacuum lines that the newer ones don't have Silicone Boost Vacuum Hose

Really high quality stuff. Been great for over 3.5 years now.

Now when it comes to coolant lines, I stick to OEM rubber.

Definitely this, I'll use silicone for most things not involving fluid, if it has fluid in it it gets OEM or NAPA as already stated.

Silicone lines are fine for boost lines (if you get nice ones), vacuum lines, etc but I've read a lot of stories of them breaking down with coolant in them.
