Styling

Does anybody see Highlander from the front and a touch of Rav 4 from the rear? The Trail Edition has a Tacoma look from the front.

I like it for the most part. I'm not a big fan of the 4runner on the back...way too big and it's chrome.

Taillights could be a little better. The sides look very flat. I'd like to see a little more wheel well.

Tires are way too small of course and it looks like ground clearance is a little low.

I don't see too many positives aesthetically over the fourth gen besides the tail pipe and the side mirrors.

It actually looks better in real life than in the various promo pics put out so far. The real end is way bulky, but I think the look may grow on me eventually.

Yeah, that's true! Odd accidents happen though, like the time a rock came out of nowhere and hit my sunroof. My wife did not know it was shattered until she closed the door and glass went everywhere! It's 3 years later and I'm still finding glass in small cracks under the seat... We got a good laugh out of it after the initial shock.

But not too close to the left or you risk scraping those 20" rims on the curb.

Driver gets points for parking in a corner stall. However, minus points if the potential-rental-car PT Cruiser was already there (never park next to a rental car!).
