Silverstars

I used to have an hid pnp kit on my runner, at first, it was cool... But after driving with hid projectors from my ex's car.. I was blown away, it was alot more brighter :

Prior before that, I had silverstars too but the output wasn't that great ; It was better than stock though however.

Honestly, go with the retrofit. I love mine...

I will post some pictures of it tomorrow evening...

It was basically snipping 1 wire.
I followed that thread and disabled the DRL's on my '02- put in the Silverstar Ultras in headlights and Silverstar bulbs in the fogs.......noticeable difference and I am very happy with it. Added bonus is being able to run with only your parking lights on at times.
I think the folks running into "dummy lights" coming on are pulling the fuse or snipping the wrong wire.

after reading this thread and having a headlight burn out on me i went to flaps and bought the silverstar ultras with the gold, not silver packaging, 45.99 for the set of 2, and after reading about your guys burning out after 6 months i checked it out and these have a 1 year manufactures warranty on them,
so if they break just take 'em back to the shop and they'll replace them per-pep boys conversation.

side note:
they look awesome compared to the old hellas 55/65 or whatever i had in there!
simply amazing i may do teh hid upgrade in the future..but am very happy with this $50 improvement.
