hey guys. anyone out there installed a 2" or 3" body lift on a 3rd gen runner?

if so what did u have to modify in order to make it all fit. do you have to extend brake lines for 3"?

i want to know weather installing a 2" bl or 3" will be more difficult.

thanks for lookin

I agree, I am also contemplating a body lift but would go only 1inch. I have read in other post that you have to do alot of modifications.

untrue. I installed the 2" by myself in my driveway in about 2 hours.

You'll need the lift blocks, front bumper brackets, radiator drop and steering shaft extension.

It's easier than it sounds...I promise.

Based on all my research, posts and threads on the subject that I have read, I would recommend the 1" lift and a 3" suspension lift if you don't already have one. With the 1" you only do the steering shaft extension, beyond that you also have to do the radiator, bumpers, transmission throttle (I think), up to 3" may require even more, ....., but if you are willing to do all that, then go for it. The 1" body lift is going to be my next project.

thank you liny runner. i have no problem dealing with bumper drop, radiator, steering and what not ive dealt with it before and am familiar with it. the only things that would be difficult for me is brake lines and anything else.

i think im leaning toward 2"

yes i already have 3" suspension. and im on 33's
