Single Din 6 Switch Plate

There is a guy on tacoma world making 6 switch panels for under radio location for 1gen tacomas.

He is in the San Diego, Mira Mesa area.

If anyone t4r member is around that area and willing to let him measure he will modify and make a 6 switch panel for 4runners, maybe even fill in that empty spot under cigarette lighter or something. Just need someone to let him measure as I am no where close to him.

Why wouldn't it work for a 3rd gen? Its just a single din switch panel.

Looks nice, but I wouldn't want th efuses, relays and all that jazz hanging loose under there.


I made this for under my single din. Still have the wiring under the dash, from the stuff ran to it, but all the other stuff is tucked into the box.

I plan on making another one, perhaps out of some thick plastic I have here at work, and re doing some of those wires.

its all painted now, factory flat'ish black.

Yea, I don't see why the one he has for the tacos wouldn't work. I debated buying one but I really don't feel like moving all my switches.

For anyone interested, this plate will work in 3rd gen 4runners as well.

Haha, I bought the same parts you made yours from @ OTRATTW but I never got around to putting it together. Not sure if you were the first to come up with the location but you were the first I saw.

I had picked this up from a custom panel maker with intention of trying to craft my own but when I saw the one linked above I ordered it right away as it should drop right in without any creative work on my end other than paint.

Now I'm not sure what to do with this one now.

I definitely dig this one. I want to have a double din head unit and the ashtray area is useless, so something like that seems perfect.

That was my thought too, that area is a waste of space imo, plus there aren't enough 12v plug ins.
