single din hu pics

ok so here's the deal. I want to install a single din hu in my 04 4runner, but I have only seen one pic of how it would look. if anyone has any pics of their aftermarket stereo installation could you please post it? Also is it possible to add the stereo and some sort of accessory tray to the area? Thanks for the help

Yup, you have to get something called an installation kit. They are car specific and they just provide like a tray thing as a spacer. I sometimes keep papers in there, but its pretty much useless except for occupying space.

Did you lose your steering wheel controls?

I don't have steering wheel controls on my SR5. I know that you can buy an adapter so that you don't though ... I'll look and see if I can find where I saw that ...

This is the one that I would have to use, if I did have the steering wheel controls. I'm sure there are others out there too.
