Single or Duel CAT Back

I have a V6 runner and and I want a performance exhaust. Is there any performance difference between a Single and a Duel CAT Back exhaust? Also, I have heard that a duel sounds really bad on a V6. Is this true? Thanks for the help.

There is a difference if you're looking to buy a catback system. You need to get the right one. No opinion or knowledge on sound.

Dual cat is just for the CA emissions Runners otherwise you're lucky and can just stick with one cat.

i have a dual setup which was custom set up it doesnt sound bad at all for being dual on the 3.4L and it also looks alot better then just a single set up

Looks cool but with no performance gain and just something else to get bashed when off road I'm just going with a better sounding single muffler.
