Single Stage Paint

So I dropped my white 2008 Sport off at Toyota for the infamous rusty spot on the tailgate. The service manager is currently in the process of having my truck approved through Toyota for a complete re-paint. This is due to the single stage paint defect on white, black and red toyotas.

He told me tonight that it is approved. Should I have it done? Resale value impact? What do you think?

I am anal about my cars and the thought of Toyota striping everything off of my truck and re-painting it, scares the hell out of me.

I would rather them do it than a no name shop , at least they will stand behind it. and when little shit brakes they will be able to replace it easier
