Sirius in '06 Nav

I had attempted to install a sirius receiver directly into my '06 Nav system a few months ago after reading a post from a user that had done just that. I was using the Landcrusier fit kit. Unfortunately the wiring harness attached to my factory amp is different from the one that the Landcrusier must have, so of course it did not work.

Does anyone know if there is a wiring harness that will work with the '06 4Runner amp? and if so, what is the part #?

If it matters, I have an '06 Limited

You are pluging the unit into the back of the headunit (deck) not your amp right?

Well, there is a connector that goes to the back of the head unit on one end of the cable from the fit kit, but at the other end it has 3 connectors: one to plug into the sirius receiver, one connector that looks like it almost fits into the stock amp, with another female connector to receive the connector that is currently plugged into the amp. The only problem is that this cable is from the Landcruiser fit kit and the connector seems to be practically the same, but a bit too long with more pins.

I didn't even bother removing the Nav unit to plug the one side of the cable in, because I figured that without the music going through the amp, which is what I assume this would be for, I'm not going to go through the hassle of removing the head unit just to have to go through the whole process again.

local (oregon) toyota parts rep said the 4runner and Scion kit will be available 2nd week of June.

My understanding is: there is one cable running from the HU to the Sirius Receiver, and one cable that is the antenna that mounts right about the rearview mirror.

actual receiver unit mounts underneath the passenger seat using a mount that hooks onto the heater vent.

The cable is actually out. I ordered it and installed it on Saturday. The Sirius integrates directly into the Nav with one cable, plus the antenna. The only thing that i don't like is that there is a very limited amount of characters that the display shows for the band and song names, and does not even scroll. Other than that, it's great.
