Sirius Radio Question

For those of you with the sirius radio hooked up to your factory nav, has anyone been experiencing CONSTANT no signal messages? Every time I go under a bridge (even if its at 80 mph and the bridge is just a small overpass) within 3 seconds the radio cuts out EVERY TIME and I get a no signal message and then It comes back on. Its so annoying with all the bridges and overpasses on Long Island I cant make it through 1 full song. I thought these things had a buffer or delay to stop this. Any Ideas?

Thats pretty normal for Sirius in my experience. I don't have it in my 4runner, but do have it in my IS350. My antenna sits on top of my 3rd brakelight. In a previous vehicle with factory roof mounted Sirius antenna it wasn't any better though.

Strangley enough, XM radios don't have this problem.

Same things happens in my wife's company owned Ford Exploder.
Seems pretty lame to me -- anyone know why the stereo doesn't pre-buffer a few seconds of music for when signal is temporarily lost?

Its a live one-time only stream so you can't effectively buffer.

Say you turn the radio on and it buffers 10 seconds before it starts playing. Once the buffer is used up there is no way to buffer something that hasn't been broadcast yet.
