Sizing and offset on limited?

I'm thinking about getting the limited trim 4runner however, after looking at some tire options it seems that there aren't much. The 20'' wheels are making it difficult to find a set of good all terrain tires. So does anyone know the backspace of the limited wheels? I know the tires are 245/60/20, but how much bigger can we go on those rims before I would have rubbing issues? The closest size I can find is 275/55/20. Any input?

My reasearch also finds the 275/55-20 as a good size upgrade. I checked the front wheel wells and I'm pretty certain there would be no rub. It does look like a pretty decent sized spacer is needed to make the wheels flush since they're set in so deep. For the life of me, can't understand why the stock sizes are so thin. I'm tempted to run the 17" SR5 wheels/tires on my Limited. I think they run 275s stock with no rub....

Check that. SR5s run 265/70-17. 275s still wouldn't be a stretch.

If I were you, I'd switch to 17" wheels. You'll have more choices in tires, the tires will be cheaper, and your sidewalls will be taller, resulting in a better ride and fewer bent rims.

The profile on the Limited 20s are more than capable of preventing bent rims unless you go serious offroading....

Not yet. Gonna run these "bicycle" tires for a few more thousand miles. Kinda liking the ride. Just hate the look. Kinda like a bodybuilder with skinny legs

i wonder if putting the 275 profile on LIMITED would mess up the xreas suspension system? Only reason i ask is that i put wider tires on my corolla (185 to 195) and it seems to have worn out the suspension system. did toyo engineers put 245s on for a specific reason?
