skid plate bolts..

ok..maybe silly question..but i'm having trouble....what size are the bolts for the skid plates on a 96 4runner?...i cant seem to find them...

No, you need them to be fully threaded up to the head, and even then I don't know if there is enough room on the back side for the bolt to go all the way through. Can you not get a shorter bolt?

I can get anything that works, some people referenced the m8x1.25x30mm, so was JW. I'll aim for the 25mm.

Yes, thanks! I pulled my skid plate today and decided I need to track down some new bolts- now I know exactly what I need. M8x1.25 25mm

Sorta related. It may be helpful to drill out and re-tap threads to a widely available thread. Mine got stripped so I re-tapped to 3/8-16 and I won't ever regret that. If I ever lose the bolts, every local hardware store will have those bolts.

Also, put some anti seize on the 3 in the front. Those suckers are the ones that always seize and break off when you try to remove them.
