I went with RCI on my '08 V8. Full kit all the way back covering the gas tank. this kit fit perfect, no installation issues at all. When I was ready to order (last year) RCI was the only company that could fill the order right away. Since install they have taken a couple of good hits :gun5: One was on Engineer pass and the other was on a trail that was really challenging too.

+1 for RCI. Unintended benefit, can change the oil without dropping the skid now! Just have to put cardboard or something under the filter and funnel the oil out so it doesn't drop all over the skid plate. Oil changes take about 15 minutes now.

If you get their gas tank skid, make sure you install the carriage bolts with the carriage head facing out toward the driveshaft. If you install with the nut side facing the driveshaft, the driveshaft contacts that nut at full flex. That was fun to find on my first trip out.

Wait for a a holiday (Labor day upcoming) and you can probably get 10-20% off.
