Skid Plates

I was just curious. I look at my stock skid plates and see the dents and scratches and wonder, "Is this typical wear and tear or am I too hard on it?"

Feel free to post whatever shots from anywhere under there of scrapes or dings. And/or where you got them.

I had minor scratches and the screens were getting some surface rust so I did this.

I don't have any before pictures though...

Here are pics of my old skids next to a new set that I got from a fellow member.

Now that new set is actually looking worse than the old skids did, that is what you get for wheeling it hard!

Mine have taken some serious hits. They look rough, but I was impressed considering the hits. One day I might upgrade to Bud Builts but they are heavy and exensive. Awesome looking and well reviewed though.

Used to be, all I needed to make 'em fit was a 12mm socket wrench.......then.....I started needing vise-grips....

Sometimes, when they're off I have to do this:frog:
