Skinny and cheap rear view monitors that don't suck.

How much does a fellow need to spend on a camera and monitor to get something that isn't terrible? I'm looking to retrofit a camera, I don't need exceptional resolution but I'd like a decent picture. Especially at night. School me on rear view cameras and monitors?

For bonus points, recommend a skinny monitor. I'm thinking about placing it in/on the sun visor and too thick/heavy won't work.

I can't vouch for the video quality, but the Garmin Nuvi GPS series offer rearview video capability and are quite slim... maybe 1/2" to 5/8"? Light weight, too, 8 oz. I've thought about adding the rear camera to mine, but in front, for off road stuff.

Plus you get a decent GPS to cure the Etune nav lockup issues....
