Skyrocketing Gas Prices solution

Has anyone heard about this product call EnviroMax Plus. It's suppose to increase your gas mileage buy 35% miles per gallon.
There aring a speacial on NBC on 09-04-05. Sunday 3pm. Does anybody think this will work?:awais:

I don't know. The only thing I come up with on a google search points to this being a serious MLM scam.

What about affects on the warranty. The adds say it won't negate the warranty. I'm not convinced.
I too would love to hear any reports.
Even a mile or two improvement would be welcome at todays gas price.

I have heard similar things by adding pure acetone to your fuel. Has anyone ever tried it?

Ok I will do the math for EnviroMax Plus:
Their recipe is 1 oz/10 gal = 1 oz/1280 oz

Our gas tank capacity is 23 gal = 2944 oz

Therefore the amount of magic elixir needed for our tank is:
2.3 ounces into 23 gallons

The volume percent of magic elixir becomes:

2.3/2944 * 100 = 0.078125 %

WOW
0.078125 percent of snake oil is all it takes to increase hp AND save in fuel economy. If true, then these people would certainly be a candidate for the Nobel Prize.

My bad..you are correct. So it doubles the volume % from 0.078125 to 0.15625. This number is still remarkable small. IMO it would require something short of a miracle for that quantity to actually do anything beneficial.
