Slider fit with Limited flares

I like the idea of having some sliders, but i am hesitant since i have the limited flares on my car. i dont like the idea of changing that look since it flows so well now. most of the sliders ive seen are very low pro, is there any out there that come out a couple inches further so that they line up with the limited flares a bit better? im thinking maybe even having like a 3-4 inch or so wide step on it maybe made out of diamond plate or sheet steel.

With some sliders depending how close you tuck them to the body, you need to trim some of the flares on the under side. It's unnoticeable though. Mine are custom built. They stick out a good ways and are tucked up pretty close.

Sounds like you want to do something similar to what I did. I think my sliders look real nice with the sport flares.

Had a hard time finding a photo that shows how far they stick out. This one shows it a little.

yeah hepar, but you forget sport and limited flares are quite different, it took me 2 hours to swap those running boards on and they still dont look 100%, lol
end caps and overall height is different, that said, i agree with this guy (op) and am thinking along the same lines, i'm looking at doing a custom slider that welds just below my running boards so i can keep my running boards and stilll have trail protection, the problem with that though is i do lose a little ground clearance so it's a performance sacrifice for style, which i'm never to fond of, but might take the hit on this one, as i've had the boards off a few times and just dont like the way it looks without them, and sliders won't make the truck look as wide as it does now with the running boards for sure. so yeah, i think i'm just going to weld some gussets and some tubing under my currect stock running boards and call it a day, this isn't going to happen till next summer though.....

Wow. I don't remember you telling me they were different. This is the first time I've noticed the difference in the flare ends! I like that the sport flares taper in at the bottoms. Wonder why the difference?

sorry about hijacking this thread, but who makes your rear bumper, i love it and want one! and in your profile pic it looks like you have a taco front clip, is this so?

I'll answer these questions so others are confused. They are 4xinnovations sliders with a kickout. He had 4x angle the cross bars and added his own plating to it. They are weld on as well.
