I don't. I was too busy cutting, welding, positioning and painting to be taking pics too. I could take some from underneath to show how/where they attached if you wanted to see that.
 
those are nice for only 290 but how would u order from them? do u have to call? still think that the cheaper ones would be better for me though
 
Since this is not my primary wheeling rig, I don't intend on really using the sliders much on hardcore trails. I wanted them there for two reasons, to fill the gap below the doors once the running boards where removed and just for some basic protection for the rocker area if I come too close to a rock on mild wheeling trips with the family. The kids also like to use them as a step to get in and out of the lifted 4R. If I needed the 4R for a primary wheeling rig, then I would have chosen the Stubbs sliders since they are built for that.

I have my 79' Yota to take on the challenging stuff and the sliders on it get used regularly.
 
thats the same for me too mjos im a light weight when it comes to wheeling mostly cause its 2wd and cause its still pops' truck haha soon to be mine though!
 
4Runner8, there is a new thread on 120 about these sliders. The truck came down on a rock, and the sliders instantly bent.

I warned you these were poor quality..

Just look at "New Posts".

Woody (Lexywood) bent them on his Lexus, and he doesn't even wheel very hard. They bent to the point that when he closed his door, the sliders caught the plastic trim and ripped it from the door panel.
 
damn ill watch what he replies how he installed it and see. maybe he just installed wrong. i had hopes high of getting those cheap ones :( i do like the stubbswelding.com ones though for only 290

Installation would affect the strength of it's mounting location only, not the sliders itself.
 
The other option for good quality sliders is All-Pro off road. However they are about 350? not sure for the 4th Gen.
 
i really wanted those sliders but now i have second thoughts. they were too good of a price to be true. would anyone still reccomend them if i dont offroad much and wanted to hide my frame and use them for a step as well as protection. i still off road but i wont be droppin down any ledges im just a 2wd guy but not for long!!
