Sliders - legitimate question

I've been doing a bit of research on sliders and I'm at the point where I'm over thinking it so I'm coming to you guys for assistance. I simply can not decide whch ones to go with.

Within a couple weeks of having our T4R, I took the lighted running boards off because my wife and I agreed that we were wasting too much effort trying to step over/around them than utilize them. I like it much better without the running boards, but it left somewhat of a gap which needs to be filled.

Since then, I've done search after search on this website and various others about the different sliders out there. I'm starting to like a specific look but want to see if what I orginally set out to locate is even out there. I've even studied the photos post by you guys - but I'm still sitting here with questions....

I guess the best way to describe what I'm looking for is a large tube (square tube or round - preferably a square tube with rounded corners) that will basically be tucked in along the chassis underneath the body - thereby covering up the exposed frame rail and providing some modicum of protection. I don't mind if it sticks out minimally but don't want to run into the same issue I had with the running boards. Since I'm not seeing what I'm looking for, I'm beginning to really like the looks of what I feel is a standard rock slider look.

Does anyone have advice, comments, ideas or suggestions? Pics of your sliders would be helpful (or others if you have some) Thanks for any thoughts you guys might offer...

These are what I'm currently looking at:

I intend to mount a Westing push bar on the front and mount some Black Magics onto it at some point in the future - along with possibly a 2/1 Cornfed. Right now I'm just looking into the sliders first though..

square tube sliders will meet what you're looking for I think

the traditional rock sliders might stick out further than you want causing the same issues as the running board.
