Sliding cargo tray owners: Asking the real question

I use it every time I get groceries. Also works as a good seat. Occasionally when I get big bags of mulch or something like that I used it. Saves the back. No modifications to sleep in the back either without it being two levels.

Yes that true but he's actually asking about the hidden compartment behind the slider not the tray itself. I have nothing in mine because I forget it's there.
 
I know I sound like a broken record but if anybody wants to sell their tray and/or replace it with a minty oem non tray setup hit me up please!

In the small rectangular storage compartment I have an umbrella, breaker bar, bag of zip ties, a torx set, Allen set, paracord, k-bar, and 2 sets of stakes for my arb awning. Under the sliding cargo tray I have a tarp,2 bungee cords, 2 recovery shackles, socket set, a 15” crescent wrench, a monkey wrench, a roll of 1-1/4” double sided Velcro, and a camp axe. Tried to post pictures but every time I try to upload, it says upload failed.

Man you are wanting that tray bad!! LOL Honestly I don't find it that useful and you do loose some room because of it, but NO I'm not selling it. It doesn't make a great diaper changing table though. :)

Is it that obvious.... Well, besides the fact I think it would be fairly useful for me, my wife suffers from deteriorating spinal stenosis and two ruptured discs resulting from a car accident several years ago. I think if I could install one it would be beneficial for her on grocery/errand runs. I bought the vehicle used for what I believe to be an awesome price; however, I was not aware there was such a tray option until I joined this board. Oh, and I’m way past diaper changing duty unless it is for unexpected grandchildren....

I can see where it would be useful to her for sure. Well I'm 46 and I thought I was done with diapers too!!!! :shocked:
