Slight chipping on Sport running board tubes

Noticed a pea sized chunk peel off on my running boards. This is off an 07 Sport

Any idea what I could use to remedy that? Thinking some form of spray to get it covered to keep from further chipping.

I repainted mine with Rustoleum Hammered spray paint. Their gray color is a pretty good match, color-wise( a little lighter than the factory coating). However, if you only repaint the tube with the chip it will not match the others.

It’s been over a year since I painted mine and it’s a nice durable finish - looks good and holds up great too.

DupliColor’s Trim and Bumper paint is great for stuff like this. It’s very durable and they have a dark gray.
