Slotted/dimpled rotors help!

Installing some new slotted/dimpled rotors right now and am unsure of which way the slots should face. They have straight fins for the cooling veins so I can't tell that way.

Like attached or opposite?

The direction of the slots on the outside of the rotor do not dictate whether the rotor is a left or a right. For rotors
with slots machined in the same direction as the internal cooling vanes, the slots should lean toward the back of the
car. For rotors with slots machined in the opposite direction as the internal cooling vanes, the slots should lean
toward the front of the car. Bottom line - don't use the slots to decide which side to mount the rotor. Pay attention
to the internal cooling vanes.

For slotted rotors with straight internal cooling vanes, the direction of the slots is totally up to you and what you think
looks best. In this case, there is no wrong answer.

Sweet thanks, that's what I thought but i kept doubting myself lol, finished the install up today, no more squealing brakes! Lol I think it squealed because of cheap pads because the old ones looked new, but it feels a lot smoother with oem pads.

dimpled/slotted rotors

Since you got em on all good , but they used to stamp them L or R when I bought them , not being a smart-ass .:violin:

EBC 3GD is a same setup I have. Pare them up with Hawk LT pads and you got golden combo.
By the way rotor on your pic is backwards. When rotating groves move hot gases out the rotor
in EBC not in. There is a stamp on each for Left and Right.

Not correct. If they have straight internal veins and are not stamped it does not matter.

My EBC sport rotors are directional. This is a photo of the drivers side

I think they're backwards too, just was waiting until I had a chance to look at my current ones to confirm it.

should be like what i have, also check the edge of the rotor for the markings.
