Yeah it sounds similar to having a diff locked like how my fathers jeep was but I don't remember what was stock and what wasn't, I drove v6s so far and each one had an issue with 4lo not working or the trans howling and one had a rough idle, this was the first v8 I drove and it went through the gears very smooth, no noises, no howl, popped right into 4lo so I was hoping I found a good one but I did notice in the tight parking I felt a little binding or little a shudder that I didn't notice at higher speed turns. Was wondering if the full time 4wd might feel diff than the v6s and to be honest I don't think I really parked any of the v6s in 4wd and this tightly.
I'm gonna try and get back out there today or tomorrow and see if the diff was locked, either way I'm a bit nervous...if it wasn't locked it could be an issue if it was locked we drove around for about 15 minutes of mixed driving on dry pavement which I heard isn't a good idea for the diffs.
