Hey guys, i am new too 4runners, i might be buying one tomorrow, if my car is sold. I went and tried it out, it rides nice and everything, 1991, 5speed standart, with a 22rec. It pulls good, but their is a small vibration in front and it pulls towards the ditch, i believe i may know why. The truck had a small accident nothing major, need light, bumper and grill. NO chance of having bent the frame or anything. But the thing is the stabilizer shock is broken, completely uncaped. Could this be causing the problem? THe rest of the truck is in real great shape, body is way awsome even for a toyota (sry, but out here in canada, their real rust buckets). THanks!!!

If you know the cause and can see the problem, it's a no-brainer, eh?

(I just bought an 89 because the guy had already done the bodywork!)

EDIT_truth be told, you may have a tire out-of-balance, a stuck brake caliper, loose wheel bearing, torn CV assembly, or maybe a bent stabilizer, you can see it better than I can from here.

EEDIT_Remember to check and see if one of the manual lock hubs isn't engaged
-almost forgot!

As said above, a bad stabilizer won't make a vehicle pull to a side, something is wrong, be it major or minor.

And add a bad brake hose to that list of possibilities, as well as the crash damage.
